my whole life i was heavy it didn’t matter what i did i started overeating getting into a depression and overall just not taking care of myself that’s when i hit my highest weight of 300 pounds i went to the doctors and she told me that i would be the perfect candidate for weight loss surgery because i could never lose the weight on my own it has taken me a year and two months to lose 140 pounds so my heaviest weight was 300 pounds and now i weigh 160. [Music] this is my closet my bedroom i’m going to show you what i used to wear compared to what i would wear now so this is something i would wear now it is cropped it’s fitting to my body i actually have one of my old sweaters from when i was 300 pounds it is a double xl and it’s definitely like a dress on me now which is crazy to see my whole life i was heavy it didn’t matter what i did i played sports like everybody else i ate the same food everybody else ate and i think because i was upset that i wasn’t losing the weight then i started overeating getting into a depression and overall just not taking care of myself and that’s when i hit my highest weight of 300 pounds when i was at my heaviest weight i always was a happy person in general but it definitely contributed to me feeling bad about myself feeling not as energetic and just not feeling the best that i could feel so i’m gonna show you guys what i used to eat on a typical day when i would be out for a meal out at mcdonald’s over here we have a large fry 10 piece chicken nugget chicken sandwich and then sometimes sometimes we would have to add the burger in there with a quarter pounder and this is so crazy to me looking back at this now but this is what i would eat on a typical meal at mcdonald’s about a year ago i stepped on the scale and saw that i weighed 300 pounds i went to the doctors and she told me that i would be the perfect candidate for weight loss surgery because i could never lose the weight on my own i had the surgery and i ate low carb very clean for a year and two months it wasn’t easy it took a lot it wasn’t just a diet that i could start and not finish and i was able to lose 140 pounds during the first year and two months of my weight loss journey i cut out most carbs so i did a low carb diet kind of similar to keto for a year and two months until i cut off all of the weight that i wanted to lose other than that i didn’t really restrict myself i stuck to high protein and vegetables and now that i’ve lost all the weight i eat carbs in moderation and i try to be able to enjoy everything as i want to as long as it’s in proportion so my heaviest weight was 300 pounds and now i weigh 160. it has taken me a year and two months to lose the 140 pounds now that i’ve lost the weight um i work out about three to four times a week trying to gain the muscle back that i’ve lost during my weight loss journey and i try to walk and do cardio one to two times a week hey carly what’s up what’s going on baby girl you been good what are we gonna do today ready to work out ready to work out all right we’re gonna work out upper body and lower body all right let’s do it let’s go carly it’s positive energy from one to ten is like a hundred i love her i love to see her when she comes in and smile trying to curly is fun when she’s training she starts joking but she likes to work hard i’m the most confident i’ve ever been except at the same time i’m getting new insecurities because now i have loose skin and i’m in a body i’ve never been in before it all happened very fast i mean i lost the 140 pounds in one year so learning to love your body at every stage is something that i always promote and i’m super passionate about but as of right now i’m just learning to love my body as it is hey how are you wanna get some today yes i’m fallon and i’m carly’s best friend since middle school i’ve been there for it all i’ve seen her ups and downs her struggles so i’m i’ve just been there as someone uh to support her through everything her drinks thanks carolina love you know how different life has been for me since i’ve lost the weight how everything has changed now we do so many different activities and different things isn’t it so much better it’s honestly so much better like we had so much fun before but now i feel you’re so comfortable in your own skin you’re just ready to go off and bop around and just have to be my best self yes exactly and thrive i’m sure i’ve always weight loss has changed my life in every single aspect i can go out and not worry about if people are staring at me because of my weight i can enjoy activities i wasn’t able to enjoy i don’t have to worry about weight restrictions i can do anything anybody else can do now and i felt sheltered before because of my weight if you are looking to lose weight i would say do not wait another day do it now it will change your life if you just stick and stay motivated and actually implement those healthy habits to do it successfully start today don’t wait for tomorrow you Video source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZjIwx1NHnk
